Carolyn Watters is Dalhousie's Vice-President Academic and Provost.
A professor of computer science, Dr. Watters is well known at Dalhousie, having served for many years as Associate Dean and then Dean of Graduate Studies, and as Acting Vice-President.
Dr. Watters is an experienced, creative academic leader and has a long record as an active scholar in computer science. Her national experience as the leader of the Canadian Association of Graduate Studies and her service on numerous granting council bodies have also provided her with a national perspective on the issues facing Canadian higher education.
